Parking disc

With Parking Disc, containing the VRN, buses and trucks are allowed to park in paid parking zones up to 20 minutes without charge between 10 am and 5 pm. Parking Disc is based on the vehicle registration certificate and is issued by Customer Service Office of BKK (Budapest Centre for Transport) after the cost of parking disc is paid.

Cost and requesting of Parking disc

Parking Disc is based on the vehicle registration certificate and is issued by Customer Service of BKK (Budapest Centre for Transport). Application fee must be paid upon requesting a new Parking Disc or replacing damaged, lost, stolen or destroyed ones.

How to use the Parking disc?

The Parking Disc valid for the vehicle which VRN is printed on it, any copy or reproduction is prohibited. The Parking Disc must be set to the time of arrival. The vehicle must show a parking disc behind the front windscreen that is easily readable from the outside. Clockhand can only be changed if the vehicle leaves the parking space.

The status of the parking disc is controlled by the parking attendants.
